Cee Dee's Prince Pekoe-Boo CD RN CGC TDI
"Pekoe"
11/12/1997 - 12/19/2013
Affectionately known as our little clown, Pekoe was a silly little boy, and you couldn't help but giggle at his devilish antics. He definitely had an independent streak, and he liked to put his own spin on everything he did. When he was happy and excited, he did his little circle dance (flying around at full speed), and his favorite resting spot was perched up high on anything with a view.
Pekoe has the honor and distinction of being the pup who got us involved in all our various dog activities. Even though he was not quite the star pupil in his first puppy class, we were hooked. We persistently kept up with our training, never expecting that Pekoe would become an award winning obedience star! Pekoe went on to earn his CD (including a First Place for his first leg) and was one of only THREE Chinese Cresteds throughout the entire U.S. to earn an AKC CD in 2001. He has had some nice specialty placements, and was the #1 Chinese Crested in Novice A and Novice A/B for the First and Foremost Ratings 2001 and #9 Chinese Crested in the Delaney Ratings 2002. He competed at DOCOF (Dog Obedience Clubs of Florida) for several years and was the high scoring dog on our team for 2005. Pekoe was also a great retriever, enjoyed tracking, and worked in a variety of settings as a certified therapy dog.
Pekoe was proudly owner trained and handled in all activities.
